CH9 - 5.For Mortimer, It was Different.   
For Mortimer was given time, though limited.  For Mortimer was given people. All the faces he'd ever seen, all the voices he'd ever heard.  For Mortimer was given one last chance. To finally set things right.   
He stood before the large group of people, watching them for a moment. Watching as they moved about. Watching as one by one they faded away, though no one around them noticed. He approached the first one, the one farthest from the crowd, the one that was alone. "Talk more often," he tried. The young girl slowly turned to face him.   
Something was not right. &n CH9 - 5.
